Just couldn't resist another try at night fishing and had an almost identical trip as the last one. A piece of Stingray got picked up by this nice fat 5' 6" Lemon as the tide came in and the temperature dropped.
As much as I love the Lemon Sharks I was really hoping that when the light stick hit the floor this time it was going to be a Bull.
You are doing very well on ray pieces, And as they say over here "The proof is in the pudding"
ReplyDeleteAlso i know this may sound like a daft question,
When you measure the Shark is it from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail or just to the end of the wrist where your left hand is,
Well done on another succesfull night fishing,
,,,Paddy,,,
Hey Paddy,
ReplyDeleteYes I'm really liking the Ray for bait. It is tough as old boots and the smaller fish seem to leave it alone.
I measure from nose to tip of tail. Some people measure to the fork but this is odd with sharks as most species have different lengths of upper lobe in the tail.
